I hesitate to present these images of staminodes in the context of a taxonomic section due to the overemphasis some authorities in the past placed on their diagnostic utility when separating taxa at the species level. The fact is that staminodes are highly polymorphic and reliance on them as a taxonomic tool typically encourages unsupported "splitting".

Nevertheless, I think they are fascinating in form and although they may not be as useful as once thought, in differentiating species, they certainly demonstrate sectional affinity.
